Our History
Construction and general contracting have been a legacy in the Kiwan family for generations. Omar Kiwan learned the craft from his father, gaining invaluable knowledge of how to stand out in the construction industry.
Starting his career with Kiwan Construction, Omar decided it was time to take the business to the next level and founded OKC Construction Services, Inc. in 2018. Known for his extensive travel to assist with storm damage restoration, Omar has now settled in Groveland, Florida, ready to dedicate his services to all of Florida.
Omar’s journey in construction began with Kiwan Construction (founded in 2001), where he learned from his father and gained hands-on experience in residential and commercial projects. It was here that Omar developed his foundational knowledge of the industry, working on various jobs and building his understanding of quality craftsmanship.
From 2008 to 2018, Omar traveled across the country, assisting communities affected by storms. His focus on storm damage restoration, including land preparation, site cleanup, and structural repairs, solidified his reputation as a go-to expert in disaster recovery. This experience deepened his skills and solidified his passion for making a difference in storm-affected areas.
In 2018, Omar took the next step by founding OKC Construction Services, Inc. His vision was clear: to provide top-quality construction and storm damage restoration services to clients throughout Florida. With a focus on safety, precision, and customer satisfaction, OKC Construction quickly became a trusted name in the industry.
After years of travel, Omar decided to settle in Groveland, Florida, in 2024. With a deep connection to the community, he is now ready to dedicate his expertise to the people of Lake County and expand OKC Construction’s services across the state, continuing to provide high-quality construction solutions to residential, commercial, and government clients.
